My guests and I just love it. Even though
Point Richmond, CA is a dot on the map it's centrally located.
Berkeley and downtown San Francisco are 11 miles away. About 15
minutes by the convenient BART system (rapid train).
There are
golf courses, hiking, sailing, fishing, and bicycle paths for active
people. Marin County is 10 minutes away and Wine Country is a
relaxing 40 minute drive. And if you love food, like I do, there are
incredible restaurants for every budget. Do you like art? The Bay
Area is well known for its artists-in-residence, museums, music, and
festivals.
A local favorite is the "neighborhood loop".
Imagine... Stepping out your front door, turning the corner, and
walking down a gentle hill to the water in 5 minutes. Then follow the
water around a postcard-perfect town with a cup of hot coffee in
hand. You'll be awe struck by the fantastic views of San Francisco's
skyline (it's magical at night), the Golden Gate bridge, mountains,
Angel Island, and all of Marin County. That's my neighborhood and I'd
like to share it with you!
You can come for a short or long
stay. And, we don't feel like a stale hotel. It's a real home, built
in 1903, with separate apartments. Each has a kitchen or kitchenette
and a private bathroom.
It's a wonderful place with a great
vibe. It's warm and friendly. You can relax and feel at home. It's
somewhere you can recharge your batteries, especially after a long
day sight seeing, touring colleges like UC Berkeley, or from a hard
day of "working-on-the-road" -- you'll absolutely love it
